Given a project to pick a traditional fairy tale or fable and change the theme, I chose Hansel and Gretel in the style of the animal kingdom world. Specifically it became about the age-old tale of cats vs. dogs. The project entailed creating Hansel and Gretel-based characters, assigning them personalities through the artwork and depicting a scene from the classic fairytale through the lense of this new world. In this scene, the dogs Hansel and Gretel can be seen being lured with a giant ham leg into a house made out of meat by an evil cat.
